Hai OTAI sekalian.

Need opinion. Dah jumpa rim watanabe tapi.... nak bertanya.
sekiranya rim watanabe tu 15-inch 114.3 front 7.5J off+15 / rear 8J off-6 sesuai x dgn mk1 yg xde bubble arch? perlu ke burble arch? n would it hard to find the tire? or any other size suggestion.

bro 7.5 j in the front is kinda 2 much.....in front the max is 5.5-6.5 j......rear 7.5 j.....handling damn nice....remember RWD car steer from the rear......only front wheel drive car need big wheels in the front.....besides that u lose lots of power and heavy fuel consumption due to wide wheels.......15 in ch tires are 1 of the cheapset in the market.... so it is -looks against performance-

Zegrond!

Set depan dgn lebar 7.5, et+15 kita ok lg kalu psg ke MK1. Tp kalu yg lebar 8 dgn et -6 dh kira x sesuai nk dpasang tanpa bubble arch. Apa2pun jalan terbaik ialah maintain original tire diameter. Contohnya keta ngan saiz rim asal ialah 13" dgn tyr saiz 175/70 R13. Then upgrade ke rim 15", tyr paling sesuai dpasang ialah 195/50 R15 psl overall diameter tyr ni sama ngan saiz asal. Beza kedua2nya cuma 0.8mm je.

Anyway bg member yg mmg gila ngan rim lebar ngan offset jantan, konsep ni dh x ambil kira lgsung. Bg diorg style #1, safety / performance jatuh #2. Terpulang pd selera masing2! 8-)

kencang tu offset ngan lebornye..tp personal opinion utk mk1 mcm tak ngam pakai 15'..cun pakai 14' or 13'..utk mk2 memang sesuai 15'..tp kalo enjin dah power idok le sesuai nk pakai 13' yek :mrgreen:

totally agree..maintain the original tire diameter....nanti speedometer pun accurate

tq for good information. nampaknye u guy macam against set nie.
contoh apa problem / safety / performance yg akan selalu jadi kalu aku pakai set tu?
aku pening dh berape hari pikir pasal rim nie. nak ke x nak je.

kalau 6.5j for front n rear ok x? or 6.5 front n 7.5 rear. kalu set nie boleh fit 195/50 tyre kan?

Setiap kereta dh dipasang tyr dgn manufacturer spec, b'dasarkan performance kereta. Amik keta kancil sebagai cth mudah. Enjin dgn std spec / power tp psg rim 13 xpun 15", apa yg tjadi? Keta akan hilang power, pgunaan petrol btambah & lg bahaya, braking pformance kurang! Benda sama akan tjadi pada mana2 kereta.

Untuk Escort plak, rasa2nya rim 15" tu dh kira paling besar / elok utk gantikan std rim. So tyr paling sesuai ialah 195/50, 185/55 & max. 205/50 (pd pndapat aku). Lebar rim plak ikut saiz tyr. Kalu saiz tyr 195, lbr rim plg sesuai ialah 6.0 - 7.5". Kalu nk main saiz 8", saiz tyr minimum ialah 205/50 & plg best ialah saiz 225/50. Berat rim pun kena amik kira skali kalu nk ikut kmampuan std engine.

Citer bab offset lak, kalu ikut MK2 aku (lowered 2"), saiz plg best ialah +15 (dpn) & +10( blkg). Kalu ikut spec nih gerenti fender & mudguard x kena kacau. Aku rasa MK1 pun bleh support spec ni. Nway offset akan mpengaruhi jgka hayat hub bearing. Lg besar offset rim (senang baca rim lg tkeluar!) maka lg 'pendek umur' bearing. Selamat mencuba! :D

skrg baru lega. otak pun kurang pening x tido mlm. oklah aku x jadi le ambik set tu.
