I just bough this cortina mk3 from my friend at RM1,900.00 and i will convert the car to mustang boss 429...

kindly give me advise since i can stand looking at american muscle car....

a lot of bodywork need 2 do be done if ur converting it to 1969 ford mustang Boss 429..

metal parts can be done or custom here. however, rubber parts, plastic, pvc, glass etc are quite hard to find. they can be found from abroad btw. like original grills, badges etc...

the doors look quite hard to build, but using other doors is an alternative for instant. say if you're looking for 'original' door you may find it easy using coupe doors from honda or nissan or putra... this eliminates buying few other rubbers, glass, plastics etc. find a perfect fit door, then minor modification may help to resolve other obstacles like, locking mechanism, overall look, bodylines, fitting & alignment etc etc.. ..however it still a banyak-kerja-work one..!

tu belum masuk bab reposition b-pillar, rear end mod, interior mod, etc... tapi inikan malaysia boleh...! sure boleh lah! when talking about crazy mods you've reset your mind to zero then just break the rules... that's rule #1

hey guys... thanks for your advise.... I really thinking nak buat sebiji macam mustang tapi yang merisaukan aku ialah...jpj. Do you Guys think JPJ will be the trouble one? Please advise on the legal point of view....

Aku dah tanya the cost for the bodywork.... it will cost me 20k... + interior 10k... mostly aku rasa i will spend 40k.

On the engine, aku nak pakai aje... the original pinto engine yang dah ada.... cuma nak tambah jadikan twin webber jer... aku harap dapat bunyi sikit2 macam mustang...kira ok la.... In future, i'm thinking off upgrading to subaru forester sti engine. I think that engine is the best to get mustang sound but some modification need...only minor one.

Skrg nie, my cortina dah boleh start.... My workshop tengah turun the original engine and overhauling in progress. Aku suruh diaorang boring the block for bigger piston and buat mana patut..... so far thing are great... aku dah spend 2500.00 baru... i hope everthing is good and smooth...

Aku cuma takut JPJ tangkap and sita my future lovely mustang...huhuhu.... after all has been done... risau jugak...

Why spending with so much money rebuilding classic cars when the end result is illegal...that isn't a good idea.
