2009 has seen some of the best classic Fords we've ever featured. Now you can vote for favourite from these 12 nominations.

VEHICLE A — CHOPPED CAPRI
Owner: Manny Galea
Featured: May 2009
Concept car styling but done in a single garage. Owner Manny’s skills and dedication turned out one of the most original classic Fords of the year.

VEHICLE B — 180 MPH CAPRI
Owner: Nick Anwyl
Featured: May 2009
The top speed is a talking point, but what impresses us most about Nick’s Capri is its all-round ability. You could do the shopping in it, then head to the autobahn for some Brabus-baiting.

VEHICLE C — MK1 FIESTA
Owner: Mike Johnson
Featured: February 2009
Not the first Mk1 Fiesta to grace our cover, but it felt like it was, such is the reaction this car has had. Awesome!

VEHICLE D — COSSIE ANGLIA
Owner: Dave Bunn
Featured: September 2009
Spaceframed, YB-powered, yet clothed in the (almost) original bodywork. Quick. And clever.

VEHICLE E — ANGLIA 105E
Owner: Dave Munns
Featured: November 2009
Coated in a fine selection of period goodies, Dave still managed to put his own mark on this build with a one-off front panel and that tasty Monza Blue paint. Built not bought indeed!

VEHICLE F — MK1 CORTINA
Owner: Dave Gardner
Featured: November 2009
One of the stars of our Great Unveiling, Dave’s Mk1 is a cunning mix of custom and classic, with the Nissan turbo engine the icing on the cake.

VEHICLE G — COSSIE ESCORT
Owner: Terry Wilson
Featured: July 2009
The works RS1800 livery confused many, then left them open-mouthed as Terry’s Mk2 unleashed its stupendous 600 bhp up the drag strip.

VEHICLE H — MK2 ZODIAC
Owner: Jason Blott
Featured: January 2009
Jason’s Mk2 is a spot-on tribute to the first fast Fords, with Raymond Mays kit, and blacked-out steels for the ’50s sleeper effect.

VEHICLE I — MK1 ESCORT
Owner: Adam Milner
Featured: Summer 2009
As first cars go, Adam’s Mk1 is surely the best we’ve seen. Even a crash at Ford Fair didn’t deter him from building one of the most well thought-out Escorts for some time.

VEHICLE J — 24-VALVE CAPRI
Owner: Dave McSherry
Featured: May 2009
Capris often divide opinion, but we’ve yet to meet someone who hasn’t responded positively to Dave’s Mk1. It’s such a good-looking car, with well-crafted mods, that you can’t fail to be won over.

VEHICLE K — POPULAR 100E
Owner: Martin Palmer
Featured: October 2009
Martin’s Pop is impressive, even more so when you find out it was his first project car. Superb attention to detail and a hot 1700 Crossflow make for a winning combination.

VEHICLE L — MK1 CORTINA
Owner: Andy Mitchell
Featured: August 2009
Andy’s achieved the unachievable with his genuine GT, impressing both the purists and the modifiers with his concours-like finish and subtle tweaks. Hats off.
